Supercharger not whining

So after 4 pages did the OP fix the boost issues or did this thread turn into a cone filter DIY thread?

Never touched a supercharged GP I have 9 parts GP parts cars haha.. But I DO HAVE BOOST the only problem is I don't hear my supercharger whining...

That would have made a better first post in the thread lol It sounded to me like you had an issue or vacuum leak.

put a open cone filter on, i bet you think somethings wrong the next day when you hear all sorts of crap from that intake lol

Scottydoggs I'll probably think it's my power steering pump.. Haha

no, you'll know the pump is whining.

you can hear stuff that will make you wonder if the engine is ok or not. cold start only. it sounds like a pos really. i had a friend walk up to my car and tell me it dont sound so good, im like come back in 5 minutes lol

the stock air filter box is a muffler really.

I am not sure on your car, but stay away from the Specter (sp?) chrome plated plastic. You will literally suck the chrome off the inside of the tubes....

I'm at autozone right now.. I'm getting a spectre air filter, just looking for the tubing. What size is the tubing?

So you can drill a hole in the metal tube and then stick the sensor into it. A grommet looks like a doughnut with a slit around the edge so it will fit the walls of the pipe, you know like when you pass wires through a firewall and don't want the wires to rub on the metal surface.

Did I mention not getting the Spectre brand chrome plated plastic tubing?
