supercharger coupler ?

Are the green replacements a real snug fit? I have 2 new green ones and they are both tight going on snout end and rotor end. I started half way on rotors with lube and started the snout on and tapped with palm then the rest of the way cross sequence of the bolts.

Mine was pretty snug. Had to use the snout bolts to finish seating it.

same here, pressed it on as much as i could by hand and then used the bolts the rest of the way... and to anyone who thinks they may have a bad coupler... just order a new one and get it done, one of the cheapest / easiest fixes i've ever done.

In fact, the guy who sold me the car thought there was something wrong with the engine because of all the chatter at idle so he sold it to me for $1500!!! book value on the car is $4000 and all that was making noise was the coupler!
