Supercharger boosting half way when warm?

My car is a 98 GTP and it doesnt make full boost when it is warm but when it is cold it can boost all the way. any ideas? I already replaced the bbv. Car has headers full exhaust and cai. Plus i got a SD hood. :)
 


When I put headers in both my GTPs, I never made "full boost" according to the block. But on my Boost gauge I was between 6-7PSI.

You're not building as much boost, but you are flowing better.
 
What about when i start the car cold and i punch it, it shows full boost and i can actually feel the car way faster. But when it is warmed up and i punch it it doesnt show all the lego blocks and the car feels slower.?
 




Change your SC Belt, look for Vac Leaks. Maybe your just knocking too much. I think someone mentioned KR Sensor activates at 160*. Dont quote me on that though.
 
Intake and headers without a tune? Might be running lean and retarding timing. It might also be worth checking out your mass airflow sensor (MAF).
 
Knock Retard Sensor.

Reason why you get full boost and faster when cold is because the KR sensor isn't activated. So you can knock for days, and nothing is going to stop it.

When warm, the KR sensor monitors the engine. My guess is you are knocking, and the engine is retarding greatly to prevent you from blowing it up.
 


yes. it is helping you. if you are having too much knock it is keeping you from screwing your engine up.

if it is knock and the car is retarding the timing. you have a problem that is causing the knock. you will have to hook it up to a scanner while driving it to find out how much knock.
