supercharger blow off valve?



Why do you want a blow-off valve for a supercharger? It already has a factory bypass valve, if that's what you're asking about.

In all seriousness though, BOV's or waste gates which don't recycle air [in all applications that i am aware of] are extremely inefficient compared to those that do recycle air. [However they are efficient at adding a noise which usually sounds like this]. Your making boost for a reason and to release that boost rather then recycle it is just going to hinder performance.

You DO [in turbo setups] need a place to release the air. Reason being is that in between shifts the back pressure causes resistance and the turbine to slow down. Then essentially you want the pressure to escape [so the turbine stays spooled up] and then the air be recycled after the vehicle shifts.

The Supercharger does no have this issue as it is belt driven and not driven by exhaust gas. I believe [not positive about this] that when decelerating the s\c can put drag on the engine and the bypass valve opens up equalizing the pressure in the outlet and inlet of the blower.

That being said, from what i understand it can be done, i don't know how and i wouldn't hold my breath on here waiting for anyone to help you with this. [if it cant be done someone plz correct me so i can sleep better tonight]

BOV noise is the one rice noise I do like, unless it sounds to much like a sneeze. I don't see the point in a BOV, but that noise would be *****ing to have.
 
Sure you can put 1 : ITS A WASTEGAUGE NOT A BLOW OFF VALVE . PPYF Has em they run about 149.99 its so fun especialy when you next to a honda or tuner they look at u in assuming lol until you take off and they are in ur rear mirror and the sound from a wastegauge is priceless .
 


you cannot put any form of a wastegate or blow off valve on the blower. its literally impossible. the blower sounds good enough, just leave it alone.

Waste of a gauge... at least i have no use for it.
