super slow***

2002 pontiac grand prix 3.1 is slow as hell. New spark plugs, new spark plug wires,new fuel filter and, i cleaned the MAF. 0-60 in 12.1 seconds now before i changed all of this it was 0-60 in 12.9. It wont spin the tires and the tires are bald as hell. what is wrong with it?

even in perfect running order my tires will barely spin. my 0-60 is about 8 seconds.
just get a 3.8 s/c and do the swap.

it really depends on the cost of the engine and wiring harness. you will need engine mounts from a 3.8 car as well but that shouldnt be that bad for you.

i mean your generation of your car. it came with the 3.8 so the swap really shouldnt be bad at all.
