• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve been around, but just rebuilt the engine and re-turboed the car after turning a piston to glitter.

Current engine build:
Stattama turbo kit
Cartuning cold side
Precision 6262
ST2 cam
136# valve springs
JE forged pistons (8.5:1) .020 over
ZZP H Beam rods
Clevite bearings
ZZP stainless valves
Double roller timing chain
SFI balancer
Engine balanced
Meziere flex plate
ZZP MLS head gaskets
Gen 3 aluminum UIM
Morimoto oil cooler
Morimoto catch can (3 port)
AEM truboostx boost controller
Mini AFC
Quantum fuel pump 340lph
93 octane

GMR 1” on the shelf…
32:38 and 33:37 gear sets

Nice to see you back. Damn that sounds like a nice build. Who build the shortblock since these engines are nototriously bad about being messed with in that respect.

Lunds Engine and Machine. They resurfaced the crank, bored the block, aligned the mains, and balanced the rotating assembly. I also had them gap the rings for moderate boost and deck the heads. I found some issues with their assembly of the engine (under torqued rod bolts, harmonic balancer not aligned correctly, and rear cover gasket was installed backward). Once I found those issues I tore it all down and checked everything. We will see if it holds together. Finding a good motor to start from is getting harder and harder around me.

I hope that holds together for all the work you put into it. Judging from the compression ratio on the pistons it looks like you're using an SC engine? If this one doesn't hold maybe try finding an L32 out of a Lucerne and boost it. Compression ratio would likely be similar depending on how much the heads were decked on the current engine.
