i regret ever making the decision to buy these tires.. i have 998 miles on them and the cords are already showing and they sound like super swampers going down the road... no wait... i have super swampers on my play toy truck and they arent that bad on noise.. the vibration is absolutely terrible. my car walks all over the road because it shakes so bad now.. if anyone has any suggestions on what tires to get next please tell me.. i have a limited budget also.. also i had my car aligned as soon as i had them installed... so if you want to keep your car in good hands dont use these tires.. sorry end rant

Get some General Altimax RT43's. I love mine so far and the tread pattern looks like it will handle light snow no problem. Best of all they're not expensive.

You have some serious alignment problems if you went down to cords in 998 miles.

It is 100% not the tires fault. Unless you bought them with 1/32nd left which literally a racing slick at that point.

Don't blame the tire, blame the car and the shop for a terrible alignment.

I'v put tires on cars with loose tie rod ends and the tire will last 10-20k before it's gone.

Yeah, I'm with Cam on this one, if your tires wore out and your car is vibrating its not the tires, take your car to a different shop and have them do an alignment check, I bet its way off.

Agreed. There is a ****ty $40 alignment place that I mostly saw ricers at by where I live. Once there they kept asking me about 5 times what kind of car it was. When I said Grand Prix they asked if I meant Grand Am. When the alignment was done the steering was sloppy as hell and the steering wheel did not want to recenter out of a turn when I hit the throttle. Thankfully 3 weeks later I hit the mildest of pot holes and my steering wheel went off center. Then I took it to a real alignment shop they punched the VIN in and everything was great. My steering was tight and car drove straight.

RT43's are great in the snow. I put a set on my car in mid January, and obviously we have had a hellacious winter and I haven't had any issues.

so excited i got nre tires for the front of my car for my birthday.. got toyo extenza hp and couldnt be happier. no noise whatsoever.. vibration is gone but theres a little wobble due to a bent rim UGH!! POTHOLES!! but other than that ride quality soooo much better

I LOVE how you never commented back about the original post.

Clealy the problem was more than just the tires and you know it. I kinda hope they burn down to cords in another thousand miles if you never corrected the real problem here.

ok how so did i not? as i stated before (if you can read) i had the car aligned the same time i had the other tires put on all was in spec.. i had these put on and had them check again and look for worn parts..guess what?!?! nothing has changed no worn parts and all was still in spec... so smarta@# wanna try again??

You claimed the car was aligned when you installed the tires, yet they wore to the cords in 998 miles.

There is no way in hell that is a normal thing. Clearly something else was wrong and it was not the tires fault.

So how does a vehicle wear tires to the cords in 1,000 miles with zero problems??

clearly it was. the tires were **** to begin with.. also i cannot: repeat CANNOT turn off my traction control because my button doesnt work to turn it off.. i know its the button because i replaced the hubs before i got the new tires also.. so cant say i burned them off either.. i honestly dont know how or why.. the fact is that its happened
