sun roof does not go back all the way?

when i first got my car i did not notice it till i tried to open my sunroof and when i hit my button it barely goes up and when i hit it again it goes up and slides back like an inch and stops? how can i fix this
 


if u take the headliner down a bit, on the drivers side next to the sunroof motor there is a black box with connections coming out of each side. i had to replace mine cause my sunroof would go back by itself sometimes and i could get it to go back and forth only whenever it wanted to. maybe its that.
 
i bought 1 here from some1 parting out a gp 4 30 bucks. all that stuff is discontinued at the gm dealer. just try 2 find 1 here on the forums. if that is the problem. the way i figured mine was messed up is that i started playin around with the circuit board inside the black box and the sunroof started working fine and then acting up again after a bit.
 


no, remove the plastic trim on the sunroof from the headliner, the sun visors and the headliner lets down a bit to be able to get your hands in it without removing the whole thing.
