• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Subframe mount change?

Means I never have to worry about that ****ty oil sending unit leaking again. The oil gauge sending unit that goes with this gauge replaces the factory POS and doesn't leak. I've only worn one out, but no leaks.

Not really. Just a single wire with a ring terminal crimped on at the sending unit then run up to the gauge. Then you tap into a power source for the backlighting on the gauge itself so it comes on with your headlights. I used one of the fuses on the drivers side of the dash to wire mine. Probably the hardest part is getting the wire through the firewall to the dash. I'd have to look at mine and see where I ran it as I did it so long ago.

FYI, if you do install a 2 or 3 gauge A-pillar cover you WILL loose some of your sightline to the left. Not much, but it's there. You get used to it. I will say it's really nice to be able to just glance over at eye level and know if there is an issue or not.

Below is the gauge I went with. You could choose any 2 1/16" gauge for the pod. Don't get a mechanical gauge. You don't need to have an oil line inside the car.

gauge- 3327- Just a moment...

this includes the sending unit #2242

I believe the threads in the factory oil filter adapter are 1/8NPT so you will need an adaptor

When installing the sending unit into the oil filter housing only tighenen it to where it is snug and runs into the thread tape. Do NOT overtighen it or you will crack the housing.
