Stuttering?!?!

So for the last few weeks my car has been acting strange. At LOW speed takeoffs it likes to spit and sputter like it is missing. Now I am not getting a Mis-Fire ses codes or anything like that. I decided it was time to do the plugs since I don't know when they were done last. I bought six new 606's and a can of seafoam. I did the seafoam first and then changed the plugs. I was hoping that would take care of it. But no. No now I am torn between a few different options and just would like to know which one would be the most likely. I think it could be a coil or all the coils going bad. Or maybe the plug wires are crapping out on me, they did look pretty nasty when i did the plugs. But if those were my problem wouldn't I get a misfire code? Now my other thoughts are maybe a clogged cat? I know that a clogged cat should get better at low speeds, but it is just a thought. Or it could be time for an EGR delete? I did notice that the gasket for the EGR was bad when I did the seafoam . Or could it be the dreaded LIM gasket is sucking air into the intake? I do occasionaly get a SES light from the EGR. Something about it being stuck in the pintel postion? I don't know what that means. I am also getting a code for the EVAP. Something about a vacuum detected during non-purge sequence. I have had both of those on from time to time since i got the car but this problem just started OR is getting bad enough that now i notice it. I don't EVER get any other codes from anything else. MY MPG's are still pretty good too. I still avg. about 25-28 MPG's. so what ever it is, is not really hurting me at full speed...

Evap is not the problem. That code has been there since I got the car. The egr one might be the troublesome one. I was just wondering if that would cause my issues.

Of course it's not.......because it is an issue that you've always had, it couldn't have gotten worse?? *rolls eyes*

Yes, either one of those codes could cause the issue you're experiencing.

I just went out and cleaned off the MAF and TB as best as I can without takeing them off. I did spray either around the intake and LIM and didn't get a jump in rpm's. The reason I don't think that the EVAP is the issue is because when I clear it the car still acts up but the code wont come back on for a few days.

Cool story brah.....................so then don't come on asking for advice if you don't like to hear it.

Fix your known issues, b/c they MAY or MAY NOT be contributing to the stuttering problem.

I wasn't asking "hey do you think that my ses light would cause my issues"??? I was asking WHICH of my next choices would be the best for me to try. READ, then insult...

YOU SHOULDN'T NEED OTHER IDEAS, FIX THE PROBLEMS THAT EXIST ON THE CAR FIRST AND THEN LOOK FOR WAYS TO FIX THE PROBLEM IF IT STILL EXISTS

Not sure how I could make that any clearer.............

clearing a code don't fix it, the problem is still there you just hid it, that's why the light comes back on. fix what codes you have, that is most likely your problem is. the scanner isn't lying to you.

You COULD stop being a total douche bag and not even waste my time if you are not going to give me HELPFUL advice.

Ok You know what. FORGET IT.... I am sorry i wasted everyone's time asking for their ADVICE on which of my options I should pursue next. Apparently the SES light is the only freakin thing anyone cares about. I only mentioned that because I knew someone would ask about it...

You're right I'm totally sorry, hopefully someone else can give you the WRONG advice, like the kind you're looking for..................

any time your ses light comes on, your car is NOT running right, thats why its on. its telling you there's a problem, and then the code tells you what is wrong, that's all the help a garage would use to start fixing your problem, same as here. fix what you know you need to fix. and im sure the car will be running a 100 times better.

and you could get all of those parts from a junk yard if you need to save a few bucks, just saying.

and there's no need to get on any one here, that's all you are going to hear fix the codes and known issues. that's where you always start.

Try the electrical shift mechanism for ur tranny that'll make ur car shutter when taking off and hard shifting. I don't exactly know what line of stuff ur car is doing exactly
