so i came home and i had the sunroof poped but not all the way back on the GTP, well i went inside and fell asleep there was a heavy downpour that i woke up to. so i have puddles on floor and seats now, i pulled both seats and they are drying in my basement at the moment, and i have fans in the car blowing the carpet out.

i feel like a re re:th_depressed:

its not as bad as parking in a flood pron area, like i did, had my carpet hanging in a friends garage for almost a week. all the seats out, and taken apart to dry out.

lots of baking soda went into that recovery.

edit: my air bag light was on before the flood, and that little box was inches under water, and the light is still on. lol

Oh man that sucks sorry to hear about that. Baking soda and rice both work. I know rice first hand cause my brother has had to dry out his ipod in it a few times from the wash haha. If you check the cleaning supply aisle at a grocery store there's also stuff you can hang that soaks up moisture. There made for basements but I'm sure they'd work.

i pulled all the seats out, the carpet, counsil everything. shop vacd all the standing water out. and hung the carpet out to dry in my basement,

felt like a badazz driving around with 1 seat lol

i had my car gutted, one seat, and thats it, carpet, back seat and front pass seat all out drying for over a week.

how loud was the road noise? mine was like i had no doors, so loud.

I remember when that little rubber drain below the HVAC intake was loose and drained all the water all over my resister and blower motor, and then into my passenger side floorboard. Life is full of small challenges.

it rained like hell here last night, at midnight i went to go see how flooded the lot where i park was, and the water was 4 1/2 spaces away from my car, i had to move to higher ground, sometimes the shorter walk ain't worth it...

on a lighter note some tool come driving at the flood like its a free pass, hits the water (he never saw it) braked and then figured he'd floor it and pray, no dice dead in the water 60 feet into 3 feet of water, then he opens the door to get out, i was like man climb out the window and push man!!!!

then walking back home, i see another fool from the other side of the flooded street do the same thing, went in and kept on going till they saw the other guys head lights under water, lol they cut a hard left jumped the curb and smashed into a rail road tie wall, and the car died.

the fun we see late at night.

My caddy got flooded one time from a sunroof leak and after everything dryed it smelled like pure anus, so I sprayed the whole bottom of the carpet with straight bleach and let it sit for a few days, fixed the smell. Just some info incase you have the same mildew smell after a few days.

dude thats ****ty! im kind of late to the party cause i didnt know about this...idk that its a bad party to be late to though :th_laugh-lol3:
