stupid question?

okay guys i dont know if im missing somnething or what but i just ordered my new pcm, got it in and everything works fine car runs great. the question is i noticed that my 98 gtp doesnt have a security light? there are no dash bulbs out, and in the light you cant see a cutout for it in the cluster. were the earlier gps made without the passkey or whatever system or am i missing it? not really a big deal but just makes me curious

Could be...if your car runs fine I wouldn't worry about it. Mine pops on from time to time...but has never affected anything other than the annoying meter.

i dont have the light and i have no passkey (FTMFWMF's)

Ya my 97 don't have it at all I wnt through my light bulbs not that long ago and didn't see that

On both my 97 and 98 the security light was on the top portion of the dash in the middle closest to the the windshield.
