instead of running around.. team up with a group of guys. play objective based games, and use teamwork.

also, the mute feature is handy, use it.
 


Alot of people hack...if there is a game with 10 people in it...I gaurantee 2 people are running some type of hack.

Meh, I don't play online as much anymore. I use to get called for Hax, but I was just good, I never hacked. TF2 and CSS are easy to learn.
 
I play BF2142 a lot, it's the same sh1t. Although the number of aimbots has been controlled, there's a lot of game spoiling happening always, like spawn camping and C4 jumping.

I just focus now on my own tactics and work around these things. Any online game is the same, no matter what genre, even in FFXI, we had people doing all kinds of hacks and you also have real money traders there.

Ha that happened to me the other day.. some how I got a chopper gunner from a care package.. People didnt like me too much

Did I say there is none? No. In my 3 days of playing time I have yet to see one hacker, doesn't mean there isn't but there is FAR fewer than MW2. Maybe you just suck.
 
i got fed up with it...
i was tired of terrible spawns, and glitchy gameplay

but one time i got into a match of "thermonuclear war" it was one of the funnest games ive played, it was also slowed down by the hacker...

its a game type that was designed but never released to the public, but it is still on the disc, and some decent hackers can fish it out.
 


Black ops wins in a few categories. Company management, zombies, and the fact that I can just go into a party by myself as opposed to muting all 11 guys whose voices I don't want to hear.
 
UPDATE: changed my priorities around a bit so i'll be picking up black ops for PS3 tomorrow. might play the scenario a bit just to get a good feel for the game as i've only played maybe a day's worth of COD online across the whole series. but i'm sure i will gradually play more and more online.

never played the zombies though, what you guys think of that?

That right there...and the team killer gets booted after a while.

I suck bad enough without having to worry about my own guys turning on me. lol
 
Ha yeah I have to admit though I love hardcore matches where your team can actually kill you. Makes it more real and you actually have to be careful. In my perspective thats better
 


That's pretty much all that I do. HTD is a little more challenging, and you're not unloading an entire clip into someone to kill them.
 
black ops is actually decent on consoles.

played a fair bit on PS3.

Hardcore of course but it was still decent.

Latency's seem a tad high though.

Dedicated servers would fix that, but that costs money.
 
Latency is bad on Black Ops, worse than it ever was on MW2 IMO. I can't get used to the melee attacks for some reason. Maybe it's just me.
