Stupid people hacking MW2

Ok I have to say Im usually one to not complain about stupid things... However, lately people have been hacking MW2 crazy amounts and its making the game not fun at all. I mean if you feel so bad about yourself that you cant play a game the right way then why play it? Sure you can have on eof the highest KDRs out there. But you shouldnt be getting any satisfaction out of it. I mean dont get me wrong im no guru of FPS. I actually suck pretty bad. I do have my moments of brilliance where I can go 22/6 in a match. However, im usually not that well at all. Anyways Im just tired of people cheating at all of these games just so they can be "the best" even though if they ever had to play a straight up game they would get pwned

2 friends actually stopped playing the game online because of that. They said once you get to a certain rating its impossible to play anymore.

For those that don't know, your grouped with random people for skirmishes according to your level so its "fair", problem is once you get to certain levels half the people are using killing mods that make it unfair and you can't get ahead.
 


Yeah luckily im still way down the chain. But ive started to run into a lot more hackers. I mean I play the game as a way to relax and wind down from my day of work. Then I run into people cheating and it just makes me even more fired up.. Hence one reason black ops gets a nod from me. I prefer the gameplay and guns of MW2 but blackops has built in security
 
this is why PC with dedicated servers owns. ban teh ****er. ban his profile, ban his ip. dont see him cheat on your server anymore.

even better if its steam. ban him on steam, he wont cheat in ANY game.

and you should report people anyways.
 
I agree with that however,the PS3 had been pretty safe... Until the hackers cracked not the secrity of the game but the ps3 itself. So until sony does something about it they can run free
 
MW2 is dead. IW did a shotty job keeping the hackers out, as shown here. I'm a big black ops fan which I know a lot of ppl are not but I enjoy my non hacked matches, and I'm pretty decent at it with a 2.5 k/d.
 
thats why i stopped playing, you cant find a decent match where people actually play as they should. otherwise i would never have to buy another game.
 


I quit playing MW2 because of that. Every game I was in was with someone cheating. BO isn't nearly as bad.

I agree I like black ops for the non hacked matches. However if i get in a good match of MW2 non hacked I think its much better
 
FPS get boring real fast. theyre worse than racing games. why waste your money and time running around killing people and listening to the pointless noob profanity. just my .02
 
ACtually it can be kind of fun listening to people complain when you destroy them. I usually mute my whole team lol. Other then that its a great way to pass the time

Are you kidding me? I've ran into just as many hackers on Black ops as MW2. Had one kid that I couldn't kill whatsoever. No lagging just invincible. I'd cut him and he'd just ignore me till he decided to turn around and shoot me.
 
Benner that would be hard to believe however, not saying impossible there are some crazy hackers. BO has its own built in security meaning they would actually ahve to hack the games software not just the ps3s. From what I understand this would distinctly give them away and make it easy to fix
 
will be picking up black ops in the next week or so. most of my friends have 360s so i haven't picked it up yet. i'm sure i'll be rusty but i'll catch on quick.

MW2 on pc is the worst, thats why it died on PC. Plus developers said they weren't going to patch it from the hackers so I quit playing it on the PC. Too many wallers, aimbots, server hacks etc.
