I have a 97 GTP S/C and sometimes the car will quit and won't start until it sets for a few i just replaced the MAF and fuel pump. And the fuel pump doesn't engage until it sets.. It never started this until 2 weeks after the 1st fuel pump was installed.. I replaced the fuel pump again and it still continues to do it.. i have tryed checkin my #1 cylinder for spark when the car quits.. any help would be appreciated
 


First, I'd check the fuel pump relay. BackInBlack has a right up on the relay I'll try to fing for you. right before it stalls, does your tac jump around? But, don't think the cps would affect your fuel pump.
 
thanx man i've tried switchin out the relays with similar ones but it still stalls but yeah it goes to a rough idle before it stalls
 


I don't know man. Kinda has me stumped too. The only other thing I can think of is for some reason the fuel pump is getting hot and shutting down.
