stumbles, misfire?

when i push on it hard from a stop it stumbles a bit but when im in second gear at around 2000 rpms and i step on it it will stumble badly untill i take my foot off the gas. this happend alot one day and caused the check engine light to blink. i have replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter. i cleaned the MAF and this definetly cleared up some issues i had but this one is still happening. alot. i have heard similar complaints about ICM? does any body have some knowledge theyd like to share?
 


ok well a year later i figured what it was. the torque converter lockout solinoid. i disconected my battery to reset my pcm and the problem went away. so do i need to now replace my computer? will it come back?
