The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
i'm not familar with the 04 pcm, but you might look for screws that's holding down the stock air box. the stock air box need to come out. the pcm should fall right out after the air box bottom screws are loosen out.
i figured it out. the air box just pulls out, and there are tabs you have to unclip to get the pcm out! now i just have to fine tune my fwi design and i'm golden!
well, its in, its just not exactly the way i want it yet. its hooked up, but i want to take it out and paint the pvc with heat resistant paint (like header paint or something), and i have to close off the filter to the fenderwell (there are still some openings)
so i've gotta give credit to street wolf, i think he was the first one to use this design, i just applied it to my 04+...here it is, keep in mind, i'm still not finished. it is a WORK IN PROGRESS. it does however sound BA.
any ideas on how to close off the fenderwell a little better? any tips are appreciated!!!
yeah, i was thinkin about getting another one of those flashings, and cutting more out of the center and get more of the outer part around it or something. idk, thats why i'm not completely finished w/ the design
I LIKE that idea!!!!!! What is that cover from i have seen them in the hardware store just cant place it.Might be doing that tommorow Thanks for the Idea.
U could buy some of that aluminum looking tape to hide the PVC. Maybe buy a larger flasing. Also might need someway of keeping the filter center so it doesnt rub on the fender creating a hole in the filter. . Id bolt the ecm down probally so it was a little more secure. But if the zip ties hold it good enough no reason 2 i reckon
its called a roof flashing, i actually just bought a 3"-4" one, and painted the pvc with header paint, came out pretty good, i'll post pics after work...
