Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Struts?

What are some good struts to go with? I think it's about time to replace the front. I have a popping sound on takeoff and when I break.

How do you know it's your struts? But KYB GR2's are most/best economical purchase @ Rockauto.com or other online site. Quick struts include the spring and strut mounting plate for a great price and easier install as its 5 bolts in/out and you don't need to mess with the old spring (compressor).

Google is your friend and search search search...

Not certain it's the struts. Just guessing. I was under the car a month ago to replace the tranny. Everything else looks good.

yea my front end bounces some too over speed bumps cars got 110k on it figure its time for new struts too does that kyb kit include everything needed to swap to new struts

I run KYB Strut Plus (full assemblies), put them on about 4 months ago, and I love them. Takes bumps like stock but they're a bit stiffer springs so there's less body roll. The front are for an 03 since I run a Doorman sway bar, the backs are for 05. The rears actually come with variable rate springs, which helps a lot with rear end sag since I have a lot of weight added with my subs.

Those assemblies plus a front Doorman sway bar, rear GMPP sway bar, Moog end links/poly bushings, with front and rear GMPP strut braces make this car handle so much better than stock.

And yes, they include everything you need. Just be ready to have a big bar to break free the two strut to knuckle nuts, and a big ass hammer to knock the bolts out of the holes, they're splined.

I forgot about this thread. I got the strut assemblies on rock auto.com, I can't post a link due to how their catalog works but you'll be able to find stuff on there no problem. The sway bars I got on gm part direct.com and Amazon, and I got all the bushings and end links on Amazon as well.

I actually used Billboost's thread over on pontiacbonnevilleclub.com as he has the part numbers and such listed there.

Keep in mind that to use aftermarket sway bars, you need the older style control arms as well that allow the sway bar end links to bolt to them. The 05-06 Grand Prix's sway bars bolt to the strut so their stock control arms don't have a mounting point like the older ones.
