Struts..What to do??

So, I'm looking to order some new struts this week. Im really leaning to the quick complete struts assemblies. Mainly because they have new mounts, bushings, exc. I just don't know what all I would have to replace If I decided to go with say some KYB AGX struts and some lowering springs. Im really stuck between trying to choose what Im going to do. I really just want to lower the car and still have it ride decent. Im trying not to spend more that say $600 on struts and springs all together. Any suggestions would be great..

Oh and by lowering, I mean somewhere in the 2" range.
