Strut tower brace question!

I know that GM has a factory strut brace on some of their cars that would fit a 00' Grand Prix GTP, I just can't remember exactly what year and make. Can anybody help me remember which cars or the actual GM# by chance?
 


Actually, I'm kind of curious myself. My last two braces came from a 1999 Buick Regal GS, and and a 2000 Chevy Impala Base. (Both junkyard pulls)

Not sure what GM's logic was for which cars got the brace. My 1999 GTP and 2004 Impala LS did not have them from the factory.

They are very common at the pick-n-pull yard. $10 gets you the brace, bolts, and nuts in my neck of the woods.

The same logic that gave the "sporty" Wbody the smallest brakes.
 


Thank you for all the feedback and I'll let you guys know what year regal gs they come off of. I just hope I can find one at a jy instead of having to go to the dealership to get one.
 
Just figured I'd add another data point here... recently purchased a 2004 Chevy Impala SS. Thing has damn near the whole GMPP Handling package from the factory. Tubular trailing arms, 19mm rear sway, 34mm front sway, but guess what? No strut tower brace. No holes where one had been previously installed, either.
 
See that's weird too, I trolled junkyards for 2 years and saw plenty of Impalas and none of them had anything gmpp in the rear.
 
I went to the pick and pull last weekend, needless to say I could have came back with a dozen of these braces. 4$ a pop. Only pulled one 'Cause I only needed one but yeah.
All were on base models impala's.
