So i ordered this kit GM Parts Direct: pk12456148 - Grand Prix, Monte Carlo and Impala Handling Upgrade Kit sway bars went in fine but I'm having a issue with the front strut tower, there is no where for it to be bolted to. Decided to bring it in to a local shop and see what they had to say and apparently I need either: strut mount towers, or top hat covers to properly install the front strut bar. I've been looking around and haven't found anything that looks like it would allow the strut bar to get installed properly. Bottom line is there anyone on the forums that has purchased this kit and how did you go about installing the front strut bar? If anyone has a link to the proper mount towers I need to purchase that would be greatly appreciated thanks a lot.
 


That's because you don't bolt the bar to anything, you drill out the strut tower...lol...and then bolt them to the two little brackets provided.
 
That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. The guy at the place told me to look for strut mount towers so I figured id give that a try and see if others experienced the same problem I'm having with mounting them.
 


I just received front and rear brackets for my GTP from Don Rome and they are first class, excellent workmanship.
Placed my order and had them in my hands 4 days later, they also come with the hardware to bolt onto your tower braces and the torque wrench settings are all included, well packaged and great product!
