Strut Mount Caps?

I have ordered GMPP sway bars and Vogtland springs (based on threads I read here) for my GP and am looking at the other parts I need to replace while I'm there. I am probably going with GR-2 or AGX struts, but am open to suggestions if somebody wants to sell me on Sensa-Trac or ACDelco replacements. I was on rockauto looking at strut mount caps and found that the MOOG ones are $110 and the Monroe ones are $22. I prefer to buy better quality, but don't want to waste money on a part that costs 5 times as much and does nothing different. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge to offer as to which ones I should use?

I am looking for a slightly lower stance and improvement in handling, but don't want to have a bone jarring ride. The factory stiffness is fine for me. Any comments on struts would be appreciated as well.

I would go with the AGX's. I run the monroe strut mounts which sounds like what you are reffering to. I have had no issues with them. Don't forget the anti-pogo washers for the struts to help with the pogo. You can get them at zzp or at a local dealer. Here is some info on them for you ClubGP:
