Stripes or no Stripes?

Ok, so im reallly wanting to put Black stripes on my car, But im not sure if they would look good or not.. Heres the stripes i want to put on my car. Both down the middle and on the fenders. Tell me what you think...

My car: (mind you that 20% tint has been added to all windows since these pics)

Hmm, I think you need more black accents on the car to really go with the stripes. Plus I think they would take away from your purrrrty color

thats what im saying, fender stripes is ok, but with the hood n stuff, it be way to much.
but its your car, do what you want to it :) as long as you like it, i like my custom cut fender stripes :)

I am a big fan of your fender stripes! Looks good! :th_thumb-up:
 
if you were to paint your front fascia black and get a gt rear bumper painted black then i think itll look alright.. i like those stripes youll just have to work to make them look good?
 


u should get rid of those silly low profile tires and get properly sized ones. makes it look funky.

imho fender stripes are rice. especially if youre not pushing any decent power.

i do agree with previous posters that you should paint lower facias black. they will match your wheels a lot better.

totally not what my car looks like now but i did what he said and it made the black stripes go with it alot better IMHO
 
I have the same question... I like the ralley strips but I have a sun roof not sure how that will look when the roof is open..
 


I say go for it. its your car how it looks should reflect how you want it to look. i think it would look good with that color and paint the front fascia black as mentioned above.
 
I'll tell you something. When I was looking at Grand Prix's to buy there was a clean 97-03 (cant't remember what year exactly) for sale locally. I would have bought that car, if the owner didn't add "SS stripes"

They just look bad on these cars. And bad as in bad, not bad as in awesome.

He had it on there for a good price too and he was trying to sell it for MONTHS. Adding the stripes made it almost unsellable.

There is a difference between adding an asthetic mod to a car that looks like it could have come on the car stock, and adding something that is a garish add-on that in no way shape or form looks like it came stock. Doing the latter will hurt resale when it comes to that point.
