Stripe?

I have a white 4dr and want to add a mild black stripe to break up some of the color, somethng more than a pencil stripe but nothing tacky. I havent seen much so far. Any ideas?

i saw a 97-03 gtp black with dual gunmetal stripes ran right up the middle they were about 8 inches wide each...looked pretty good in my eyes

The way I was reading it he is looking for a "spear" or strip down the side, not hash marks and not down the middle of the hood/roof/trunk.

I've always loved my hash marks though!

Honestly instead of trying to break up the white or lack of color, try adding contrast, window tint, dark wheels, etc.

I'd go for more of the ones on the older Mopars, start out thin in the front and get thicker towards the back.

There are a few owners on ClubGP that put pinstriping down the side and did a dual color paint job on theirs. Might want to check over there.

I used the Daytona style checkered flag design and a red GTP badge overlay on my car to add a bit of color to it.

yea, zzpdecals.com has a side decal kit (whatever color you want) for your 98. it's a little thicker in the quarter panel and thins out just before the front tire. check it out. i was thinking of putting this on my car. it's called the "side streak". here's a link for all their side graphics.

yea i like the side streak too. it looks like an factory muscle car decal, not something out of Wal-Mart's auto section. not that everything from Wally World is bad......

Not sure Im digging the side streak. I'm sure its just the photo but it makes the car look shortened. ...and of course it's too much like the strobe stripe on the aar cuda'. Ive seen the neon boys try to pull it off, it just doesnt look right on any other car, imo.

But, I have seen a black gp with a similar yellow stripe on here or another forum that pulled it off decent.

quick thought, anyone thought about something similar to a judge stripe? Just throwing ideas out..

That's more along the lines that I was thinking - it's there but doesnt draw attention to itself. I'd like to see something like that on a GP. Look what I found here...
