Strange Idea From and old buddy

So i was talking on the phone with a guy that i use to work with a few years back and we where talking about cars. Some things you should know
1. He is a Country boy(from the country acts black when i is really white)
2. He Owns a '91 sunbird
3. He is a Ricer...
Anyways back to the story...
He was telling me how he entered a contest to win a Million Dollars. So what does he want to do with a Million Dollars ??? not buy a new car no that would be to simple he wants to throw a 6.0 GTO engine in his car and convert it to rear wheel drive, buy a body kit, get a new hood, a new spoiler, etc.. I paused for a second and just asked him if he was serious ?
the guy who has 2 kids that he can't support, his car has no paint job it has been in 2 wrecks and shows damage and the thing is ready to blow up, and he can't think of any better way to spend money??? is it just me or is that a bit odd ?

Oh well, look at it this way... what are the odds he'll win a million dollars? LOL

Honestly though, sounds like he needs to get some prioities straight. He sounds like the type of guy instead of making sure his kid is fed and clothed, he'd spend money on soemthing stupid and for him only like a car (that is, if he somehow got a good chunk of cash). There are many people like that out there, I know a few myself. I feel sorry for the kids honestly. I know kids who don't have a damn thing and parents who drive news cars they can't afford to fit in with certain crowds. Its bull**** and people like that should have there kids taken away. But thats my opinion...

Kids should always come first before anything, but some people thaink they can put the child to the way-side and do as they please... im sorry that B.S. doesnt fly!

That's my neighbors. Always say they have no money, always wanting to borrow something, have a killer car note on a tahoe, and just turned around and got another new car and big screen tv. All because our friend down the road went and got to new cars and our other friend has a big screen in their living room and bed room. They're trying to be like every one else.
 
You know what, That is exactly the kind of person who would actually win $$$. I always say, more money than brains. Let us know when he wins:D
 
This tread got me thinking about when i used to work at the check cashing/ payday advance place outside of detroit, well as you can imagine on the first of the month we would tend to get a surge of business, you know see all the baby mamas, cashing all 7 of there kids social security checks on top of theirs. the reason i mention this is because I came up with a policy i was going to instate should i some day run for for prez... i Call it the bob barker any one that has a kid they cannot provide for or choose not to ( i.e. the country boy ) will get spade or neutered. Seriously I understand mistakes im mean **** im one but come on you dont learn your ass is getting bob barkered son!
 


yea some people just need to get their priorities straightened out which is what he needs to do the last thing he should worry about is what he is going to do with his car, as long as it gets him back and forth to work to pay the bills that is all that should matter to him right now.... Here's an update he decided that he was going to put up with his babies mama's **** so he doesn't have to pay child support... what is wrong with that picture ???
 
he thinks it would be so much fast then a regular GTO, i had to tell him it may be a little quicker, and then he goes on with a story.... well your putting a 6.0L into a 1200 pound car it's going to fly, and then i stepped in and said " yea your car is probably 2400 pounds with the engine, rip out that little 4 banger and add yourself that new engine that you want and you are going to be adding more weight", but he didn't want to believe me and he thinks it would be faster then any other car. O and i forgot to add to the initial story that he wanted to twin turbo the 6.0L...
 
The real sad thing is that his kids will probably grow up to be just like their dad unless something abnormal happens to them and they actually grow up to be normal. But that hardly ever happens and everyone else will have to deal with them for generations and generations. Because I said this my luck would be this guy ramming into my car tomorrow and 10 to 1 he is driving around with no insurance.....
 


I think it would actually be pretty funny if he did it. Pull up to the line, heat the tire, light turns green, he punches it and feels the car hit the ground as his whole driveline takes off without him.lol!!!!!!!!
 
lol that would be good, or if he just lost... after wasting all that money, actually i am not even sure if the body would take it i think it is a uni-body so he wins but all that torque just twisted his car frame and he doesn't notice until the next day...
 
I have also known people to do stuff like this at the dirt track, cant afford a dentist, optomiterist, groceries or anything else for their families, but will spend five grand on a motor, just so they will never finish in the top five.
