Straight Hwy MPGs

I know we've all been over avg MPGs and what not but I filled up the tank after my dentist appointment in Sherman and headed back to work in Durant. I filled up right by the highway and its a 30 mile drive back to work, which is right off the highway. So i reset all the trip meters and set to avg mpg. It surprised me given Oklahoma/Texas hills and me setting cruise at 75. I know its speeding, I don't care, look at the MPGs!!!

It was up and down the whole way, saw a peak of 33.7 and a drop to 32.4 when it downshifted while going up a good grade hill, but this was when I got back off the highway 28miles later. Dropped to 32 flat once I pulled into the dealership and killed the car. Last 1/4 mile was thru 3 red-lights and stop and go noon traffic so its not so good in-town stop and go but we already knew this :th_laugh-lol2:

that's legit. i hit about that much on a few trips back and forth to BG. 120 miles, nothin but highway

i locked in at 31 mpg at 70 mph with 5 people total in the car...33 doesnt surprise me at all....makes me happy i got a gp lol....my gp gets better mileage and is faster than the camaro was lol

I got 43 on the way home once from college, hour drive home on the highway. I was surprised lol it was still slowly climbing so I wonder how much I could've gotten if I kept going.

i just discovered the awsomness of cruise control like 2 weeks ago. i got about a 70 mile round trip to school and home all highway. i get between 27 and 30 mpg with cruise set at 75. compared to 19.4 without it. not bad

I get ~26 in the winter and 30 summer going about 70. I have a mpg tune for the warm weather is the suspected reason for the difference. When I had my stock wheels I got 32-33.

I get bout 28-30 Doin 80 on the interstateas long as the winds not too bad lol drops to 16 with the ram air open but I try to cap that on when I don't need it

I drive I-95 multiple times a year, for just over 400miles. I set my cruise around 80, or try and tail someone doing a little more.

I get around 31-38 depending on traffic/weather.

Now if you tail a tractor-trailer doing 70mph, I've seen over 45mpg, which was tits awesome.

O yeah well I do on occasion get 99.9 when I kick in the flux cappasitor. . . Or maybe its when I reset it goin downhill and no throttle? Can't member :p
