Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Stock mufflers vs Aftermarket?

Never heard them with a glasspack but I kept the resonator to kill any potential drone. If you go that route especially running headers leave the resonator then see how you like it. No sense in paying some something you may not need at the moment.

I have no name, unchambered mufflers and when I start the car in the morning it shakes the whole house, and when I'm driving I don't hear anything unless I'm accelerating. No drone, no nothing. Just food for thought.

You silly people and your 3800 exhaust.

Quiet mufflers, catless headers, factory or aftermarket resonator.

Stupid small pulley with supporting mods = screamfest from your right foot.

Coming from the guy that had a car louder than Ford's Bigfoot.

Oh well, see sig if you want to hear a good sounding 3800.

Still sounds like a pile of fail ;)

You should get Solo Performance mufflers. Check their site out. Muffler Series | Performance Exhaust
I put these on my GTP and they sound amazing. I'll make a video for you soon. Basically what the other guy said about v6's not sounding good with exhaust, these mufflers make that argument invalid. They have a great tone and low cabin drone. I have the Mach series I beleive, and the slick thing about them is you get all the rumble in the lower rpm ranges but it actually decreases at the higher ranges. I've gotten so many compliments on the sound from car snobs who didnt think a car like that could sound so good.

Those are so damn similar to the ones I have. I love how they sound. Rumble until 3,000 RPM, then no more rumble.

Here's a video of my exhaust. Its on my iphone so it didnt come out as loud as I would have liked. Its a cold start and the car hasn't been started in about 12 days. I dont get on it real hard because its 10 at night. I only go up to about 2000 RPM. I'll make another higher revving video.

Yeah it cost me about $1,400 total. Downpipe was about $230, Mufflers maybe $90 a peice. The rest was installation. Its all custom mandrell bends and all that. Sweet system, video doesn't totally do it justice. If you're on a budget I would say keep the resonator off, order 2 of these Mufflers and have a local shop install them. When you get more dough order the 3" downpipe from ZZP.
