• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Did you try to disconnect the MAF sensor?

Also, next time, can you not make another thread and just keep your responses in your original thread? This helps things stay cleaner and condensed. Thanks.

Even with the MAF unplugged, as well as plugged it?

Does the car idle when in gear? And then just dies when you try to move?

no i tried listening to it but the pcv is so damn loud. but i dont think so

If the only thing you did was change the IAC, and now it doesn't run right...with the symptoms you described, I am thinking vacuum leak. Try taking the IAC out, making sure the o-ring is still on it, making sure the IAC hole is clean, lubing up the o-ring with some light grease or Vasoline, and reinstalling it.

no no no it was doing this before when it was idleing high. the iac fixed the idle problem just this now. do you know where i could find a vac line diagram?

No, I don't have a vacuum line diagram.

I guess I am not clear on what your problem is. With 3 thread, its hard to follow.

Your car was idling high, so you changed the IAC. Now it is idling fine, but it stalls when going into gear?

yes that is exactly correct, but its fine in reverse. only messes up in drive gears

Did you let the car idle enough to where it is warm?

And can you rev the engine a little bit, maybe 1500 RPMs and pull it into gear and it will be fine and drive? Or hold your foot on the brake and keep it from dying?

That sounds like a fueling issue. Check the fuel filter to see if its clogged. Is there any ses lights? When you start the car let it run untill it heats up to operating temp and see if that happens. Keep us posted

you can get a vacuum diagram from a haynes manual for the car. were you able to drive the car at all before these things happened?
