Steps to painting gen V blower

just seeing if anyone knows the steps? I know I need to get the blower off my motor. But when removing the snout, does it have a seal that I need to reseal? Can anyone help? Just wanting to get mine cleaned up and painted. It looks awful right now.
 


Why remove the snout to paint it??

Tape off the pulley and paint away.

Clean it with brake cleaner and brush and either prime it or just slap some enamel style paint on it.
 
Don't remove the snout. Tape off the pulley and tape off the inlet of the blower.

Clean the blower with some brake clean. I also like to take an extra step and hit it with a wire wheel on my drill.

Then prime, paint, and clear coat. Using only High Heat enamel.

Yea unless you need to remove the snout to replace the coupler or something leave it on. Way easier to get a good paint job on the blower.
