Steering wheel wobble. HELP!!

if it was a bad axle your feel it vibrating when on the gas.

it could be a ball joint even, it does sound like a metallic click.

yeah, motor looks good and tight. not flapping around.

try watching the axle and lca of the side you hear it from. turn the wheels so you can see,

you called it the first time, bad axle. see how only 1/2 moves? the joint is bad.

if you go watch the other side it wont do that.

Now that I watch them both a couple times, they look similar. Are you saying passenger side is shot?
It looks like only 1/2 moves in both.

dont think they should move much if at all. take it for a ride see if it vibrates when on the gas light, and hard, if it does vibrate, then coast in gear, if the vibration is gone its for a sure a bad axle.

I drove it earlier, that's how I noticed the clicking. I noticed it leaving from a stop.

No vibrating at all though man.. even on the highway, I took it up to 100. There's just something not right. It's almost like they're not fully engaged. This is something new, could I have disconnected them too much when I dropped the subframe? The subframe was lowered all the way, once the rear 2 bolts were removed.

just thinking about the geometry of things, dont think that would even flex the axles. engine trans, lca's all bolted to the frame. so they never knew the frame dropped.

the front sub frame mounts may tell a different story lol i bet they were un happy for sure.

Yeah the front mounts probably were screaming haha.
So what's your take. Is it an axle issue?? What side looks worse to you, it sounds like its coming from the passenger side. But the driver side is the one that has the axle separated from the transfer case.

Should I take the passenger side hub off and play with the axle. I just don't know at this point...

Holy crap. Seriously? Will I lose any performance at all, or is it just basically dealing with the clicking??

EDIT: It sorta hesitates from a dead stop too, which bugs me..

try cleaning the TB. last tune up was? it may be due.

that click will get worse then vibrate if its going bad. id wait for some more signs of failure.

No no, tunes fine. It was dyno'd in May. I mean hesitated due to the axles it seems. I go to accelerate and there is a slight delay.
