Steering issue?

I noticed this morning that when turning the wheel I get a whining noise and I have no idea why. My abs and trac off light are also on but I know that's a separate issue. Could it be a failing power steering pump? Any idea? Thanks lol
 


whining noise is most likely your power steering pump... and your abs/trac light is probably a wiring/wheel hub issue
 
Likely the pump is low on fluid, and when it's cold it makes it whine. After the fluid warms up and expands a bit the pump quiets down some. Time to fill 'er up.
