Stealth Mode Question

I have a 06 GXP and on my HUD it says stealth mode on/off what does that do/mean tried looking it up but could'nt find really anything about it.

It turns off the gauge cluster lights and just leaves you with a Speedo on the Heads up display, good for night driving obviously, Less strain on the eyes

I like the option better on the Saabs, it knocks out ALL the lights, including the stereo. Then another option to just light up the 0-80 on the speedo and thats it
 
lol at the reply. You use it at night. It turns off your cluster lights and leaves you with the HUD only
 
i just turn down the dash light. turns everything down even the temp controls not just the dash. pointless feature
