foudn this 'deal' online. person wants $350 for this cowl hood. seller says theres a bit of scratches but mainly on the corner edges near the window cowl. should i get it or stay the sleeper look? the guy lives ~2hrs away and is welling to meet up half way but wants $25 for him to drive and meet me(plus i'd need a truck with a bed to get it home as well).

I voted aggressive just because I want to see a purple tgp with a cowl hood. To put a cowl hood on a fwd car you should have enough hp to back it up, which you do.

But if you really want to get it, I would make damn sure its not warped and will fit right with a little adjustment before you buy it. Even if you end up having to trailer the car there to put the hood on. There is nothing worse than spending $350, going home, putting the hood on and not fitting right and not being able to get your money back.
 
I say Aggressive. Your car is unique since it's purple. You might as well make it sexy with some nice body modifications. It will look so bad ass. But yea x2 on making sure it fits.
 
I like sleeper, that's how my car kinda is, as are most stock GPs, and my dad's '99 Camaro Z28 SS is a sleeper, though the 2010 BumbleBee Camaro of his is far from being a sleeper
 


I say get the cowl and paint it purple. It would be SOOO bad ass to finally see a nice purple GP modded out!! Never seen one with an aftermarket hood, you'd be the cat's meow. The Bee's Knee's.
 
I vote sleeper, but if you get the hood, find a good body shop. Those hoods are a pain to align properly! If the lines don't match up right, you will be very disappointed. Look at it closely to make sure the edges are straight and there are not cracks in the glass.
 
I say sleeper, that has really been my preference personally. And that seems a little steep price for the hood even if it is cowl, idk just my opinion
 
Personally, Your car is a sleeper with or without a cowl hood. Nobody pays attention or gives a damn about these cars anyway. IMO, it ain't to get noticed either way. If you like the hood, get it.

I know around here no one knows anything about these cars. Look at my white one in the sig, it sticks out IMO, but still no one knows its fast until I line up with them. No one pays attention to me which is good in way.
