• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Starting to build up the intrigue, finally

But like they say..more pics...truly porno pics of the car

Don't have vids yet but from when I first drove the car to now, the tune is a world's difference. Still need to log more and dial in WOT/timing. Once I think the tune is solid (by tomorrow) I'll post some final pics and vids. One good thing about tiny tuner is there are some hidden tables that needed to be adjusted otherwise my transmission would still be pissed off. The factory 3.05 gearing in the tune was setting P0730 (incorrect gear ratio) so once fixed, my trans temps went down and no more max adapt shifts. Transmission feels awesome btw. Granted there was one minor setback, i felt good about building this trans and seeing it perform well.

As for the dyno, I still haven't decided on which place to take it to but might tag along with another coworker who has a connection at a dyno shop in Southern CT. It might be in Bridgeport but not sure.

Oh, 120 mph felt pretty good in it too. Unlike the GPs (cant say this for the 04+) my speedo goes to 140. 2.93s should get me there lol

Swiggles, I made it over a 100 miles! Hahaha

If it's the shop I'm thinking, I'd go somewhere else. They are known for dyno numbers that are unrealisticly high.

I know that Dyno Bob's prices for dyno time are wicked good Max. Plus, it would be nice to see a similar build to mine on that dyno for comparative numbers. ;) Im sure Chris will be using that dyno as well in the spring and his build-to-be is very close to yours minus the rockers and your custom ic. Just food for thought. Also, if you are interested in a race sometime very soon, i would be happy to put off taking my engine apart for the build so we can line up! :)

Yeah I'm looking for a good place to dyno at a good price come springtime. I heard that dyno is a hit or a miss though? I remember reading that someone's car made more power on a different, newer style dyno elsewhere in CT compared to Bob's dyno.

Making us wait for vids and finished pics. My patience is running thin on this one

Sent from my pager using Morse code. ... .. ... ....
