Starting Problems

So I'm having starting problems with my 01 GP I was hoping someone here could help out with.

A few years ago my fuel gauge stopped giving a correct readout (it always showed E when I was out of gas, and F if I had any gas in it at all.) Around this same time I began having to pump the gas pedal for a minute or so whenever I started it up, otherwise it run for a few seconds and die.

Today I went to leave for work. Started it with no problems. It idles for 5-10 seconds then dies. My fuel gauge is on E, but I put gas in it just before getting home last night. Pumping the gas pedal as I usually do doesn't help at all.

It's acting pretty much just like it's out of gas, but it's not. I checked the fuel pump and it appears to be running just fine.

Anyone here ever had this problem before? Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is it supercharged? If so you can bend the 85 (i think) pin out on the fuel pump resistor and it'll run hopefully.
