• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

(3days ago) I posted in the shout box about my car not starting after i had done some hard driving and had stopped to park. It would go into reverse then as soon as i gassed it a little it would die, then not start. So i had it towed to the shop and i told them (from suggestions on the SB) that it could be the CPS. But when i went back the next day they were saying no no its your o2 sensors, replaced the one in the back and said the other was fine. After almost $300 charged from the mechanic(fml).

(Today) It started up and thought that would be the end of it, WRONG. I drove it around a bit and started it 3 times successfully, i put the car in reverse and all was fine. I turned the wheel got a little farther then it died. So while being pissed, pushed the car back into the spot and went away for awhile thinking it might just be heat. no. We checked the inner fuse box and the ECM fuse was blown. So we tried a 20amp fuse, started up once (didn't go into gear) shut it off. Then when we were leaving i started it up again and put it in drive, took e brake off, and it died.(not sure if last part was coincidence or not just being as detailed as possible). It seems to happen only when i do a lot of hard driving (eng temp never exceeding 210 i have a 160 degree thermostat) then want to put it in reverse and turn the car. So any help would be greatly appreciated at this point almost begged for...:th_depressed:

(edit: i might also add that it has been constantly over 105+ here for about 2 weeks.)

Is you car tuned for the 160 stat? If not, put the stock 195 back in. It won't overheat, even in 105 degree weather trust me.

Now, since you blew the ECM fuse have you looked around at the wiring under the hood to see if maybe something is chaffed and grounding out? Find the main harness and be sure it's not getting pinched somewhere. It almost sounds like you may have a bad motor or trans mount that is allowing the engine/trans to move under a load and its crushing a wire(s) somewhere along the way.
