• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

started my sub install.. shot some pics

I that 2 15" prefab boxes laying on their side?

Nope its all custom made by me and my dad. Once I take them out and take pics you'll see.

When you have golf clubs in your trunk don't you worry about. It getting caught on a wire and rippping it out or maybe move the 2x4 you have to mount the box. I'm sorry but with as nice as the interior pic looked I expected to at least see a finished install with the trunk pics.

Not really I just put the clubs facing toward the left so they don't hit them. As for the 2x4 that thing doesn't move at all. And when I came up with the idea for the box is didn't necessarily make it to look good when looking in from the trunk i made it so that I could get them in and out easily and quickly for when i go to the track

I think your taking what I put as a insult, all I'm saying is you can tell a lot of time was putinto getting the right measurements and the box construction and carpeting look great. Take 5 more minutes and carpet the 2x4, it sounds dumb but makes a huge change in cleaning it up. Next zip tie the wires coming from the spare tire and maybe even get some wire loom. And mount that onstar system to some left over partical board covered by some fabric. It will take you less then a hour of time and I'm sure you got the left over things you need to clean it up. Its a bad ass setup that you should be proud of and want to show obviously (you got pics up for the world to see) but it makes it look half ass when you show the trunk pic and more like you did use prefab truck boxes instead of a cosum install. And if you clean it up you can still take it out just as easy.

Actually your right it would look a hell of a lot better... I think I might take out the onstar since its unplugged already wrap up that 2x4 and get some zip ties and make her look nice and purty :th_winking: thanks :th_thumbsup-wink:

And that ladies and gentlemen is how you fit two 15's in a trunk with space to spare lol

i bet those sound like 3 8's.... prolly peak at 50Hz ish, theres not many 15" subs that will sound good in THAT small of a box.
you also didnt say it was 2 boxes......
i had 4 12's sealed (2 diff shape boxes) in my trunk at one time. total air space was around 6.5 cuft.
