Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

stalling

Just got my 99 gp a couple of weeks ago then had p0102 dtc for maf, replaced it and all was well, then it stalls on me a few days ago. after letting it sit for a few minutes it started up just fine. Pulled codes and the same p0102 had been logged. Checked the wiring (no issues there), tp sensor and map all are in spec range. So it does it again today, this time acting like a miss-fire or chugging then stalls. Am I looking at a crank pos sensor or do I have a pcm issue? Any help would be great.

yes, wants to bounce from 0-2500. almost like running out of gas, if i try pumping the gas it will really bounce and try to keep running but still dies. the first signs are a slight bump that feels like it is the trans going from coasting to a pull.

thanks for the help, picked up a new cps this morning but wanted some additional input before jumping into changing it out. Will let you know if this takes care if it. Thanks again.

i have simillar problem with sudden stalling and not starting and the rmps will drop to 0 then bounce back up i am replacing my crank sensor today hopefully that will fix it. ill let you know how that goes

So I got started on replacing my cps, and found a note in the manual that the hb bolt is a torque to yeild single use bolt. So I call for a new one, and it's a dealer only item. now I have to wait until wed. for it to come in.
Has any reused theirs? if so were there any issues later from doing so? if not a problem to reuse then I would like to save the $40+ they want for a new one. Or is there a standard bolt I could use instead, as i really HATE!!! using t-y bolts.

any bolt over about a 12mm thread I would reuse with no worries. Yeah 130 ftlb would be fine for the bolt if you dont want to try and guess angles.
