Stalling Issue's when starting!! Help!!!

Well, just when i thought i had my engine under control..more problems arise. I have a 01 Grand Prix GT-3.8 (non-supercharged) and i was having problems with the MAF sensor...replaced it...codes & SES light went away. Now lately, when i go to start my car in the morning(usually kinda cold)..it starts..idles a lil high and dies out...repeatedly for a couple starts..and then on the last start it idles normal and its fine. But ive been noticing a a lil hesitation too sometimes coming off a stop sign or when accelerating quickly it will chugg a lil...and sometimes while driving and i speed up to pass somebody...the rpms will stick around 3k and then chugg into speed...smh..this is crazy tho..no service engine light or nothing. Also replaced the TPS sensor awhile back too..does anybody have any info on these type of issues????
 


And this issue dosent happen everytime i start it up in the mornings...jus every now & then..could it be a bad fuel filter/fuel pump..bad MAP sensor..or a bad CPS sensor..cause im lost! Bad wiring maybe...smh
 
Good looking..i'll keep this trick in mind...i also read it could be my MAP sensor...that will cause the car to stall after start up & said it acts as if its the fuel pump.
 
The MAP sensor could for sure I just gave this a shot because all you gotta do is bend a tab and it rules one thing out. needle nose pliers helped me a ton but I also have the hands of a 10 yearold girl.
 
Any update on this? I was having the chugging and hesitation symptoms for a little while and today it stalled on me once while driving. After a few tries it did start again. Then I continued on my way to a few more stores. As I was leaving my last store it gave me the issues of starting up, but it did start.

clean the throttle body if its a 04+, otherwise the CPS can cause the stalling while driving issue
 
man, there are so many little differences to everyones problem that make it difficult to figure out what my issue is!
Plus, I can't do the work myself so I have to take it to a shop.
 
Im just sayin its worth a shot because all it is, is bending on little metal tab in the fuse box on a relay. If it doesnt help. Bend it back.
 


A good mechanic would diagnose it by looking at the last couple of weeks/things done to it.

You said you replaced the maf. What brand maf? We commonly see cheaper replacement maf's like AutoJunk's go back quickly after being replaced.
 
Well yesterday morning, I drove it for well over an hour hoping/trying to induce something so I could try the bypass....and of course it ran fine!
Since I need my car for work I decided to take it in and let the shop diagnose and repair.
I hadn't had the MAF replaced and that is what it was. I also have a bad O2 sensor and EGR calibration needs to be done. They said that they could move the MAF and make the car stall out.
I didn't have the $1,000+ to do it all so I replaced the MAF(dealer part) to take care of the stalling. I will be out on the road a bit today, so it will be a good test.
It also has an outstanding Recall to be done, so I will take it back for that and get the others done then.
