Stage 3 Buick gsx

Yeah so walking around the junkyard today I find a stage 3 gsx sitting in the lot. Question is what all should I pull off of it? I know people like to get the grills and the gsx badges off the doors but what else? oh and did I mention it was a turbo car? has the m90 with the block off plate still on it along with the turbo manifolds ( no turbo or intercooler at all). I assume it would be a good idea to see if the heads have any work done and grab them too? Hopefully I have time to grab that stuff before someone else goes and snags it.

i would take the turbo piping if you can get it cheap enough. I'm sure it could be worth some coin on here. Check to see if it has upgraded injectors, fuel rail or logs, if the heads are ported then the LIM should be as well so grab that if it is cheap, it also may have upgraded rockers, springs, or a cam if you can get at it. just my 2 cents

Good idea, I was planning on keeping most of the performance stuff for myself unless I find out its worth good money.

it should have the 1.8 or 1.9 SLP rockers (made by yella terra back then iirc)

What an awesome find. Absolutely grab the turbo manifolds, hopefully the yard won't know any better and you can get them cheap.

i swear i recal that the stg 3 slp package for the W body's had the option for the slp rockers that yella terra made for slp (ive seen em side by side, they are the same, different name

eh, for posterity's sake it'd be badass...just since the stg3 regals werent as popular as the stg3 gp.

last time i saw a set of slp rockers for sale was nearly 10 years ago....i did see a minty stg 3 GSX at regal madness a few years back...god im getting old.

yt prices arent bad nowadays so i suppose its a moot point

i love the slp spoiler on the TR...nice upgrade for regals...though with the new exhaust dump the dual exhaust cutouts are pretty lonely back there rofl.

grab the rear exhaust cutouts, spoiler, etc...dont let em go to the crusher!!!

Yes there are 2 sets of the slp 1.8s I seen for sale within 6 months of each other. I almost bought both sets And kept my s1x cam. But with st3 heads and st3 cam I'll be fine for now with 1.6s

Well no time to go to the yard today, had to spend the whole day today and yesterday fixing one of my gtps after it got tboned. Also none of my "friends" would even go grab the parts for me for cash, which sucks for them because I sold my truck this morning and they could have got cash!
