The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I just noticed the ZZP kit includes a "Idler pulley with custom standoff, bolt and washer" I thought that you just needed to run a longer main belt and the SS pulley for the blower. any info would be great.
well after more searching i guess i found my answer by way of ZZP install guide for their kit. I had been under the impression one could just install the topswap and and retain the stock crank pulley and just run the SS style pulleys. but i guess I would need this stand off pulley too. or mod or move the coil pack to clear the belt. I was looking to do the ss style pulley to save time while swapping but now i think its worth doing the normal setup.
from what ive seen of other members using the ssm90 kit, it sits on a n/a lim or some crap and is a tuning nightmare. best off doing a real top sway, heads and lim and blower and all the pulleys.
then again others have no problems im sure and love it. but the guys with problems went full top swap.
well I am going full L67 topswap as per my sig. i already have the heads ported and waiting. I was just thinking of running one belt instead of two and saving time to not install the L67 balancer. the SS kit still uses a l67 LIM but it is modified to accept injectors and then the blower is also modified for extra clearance too. all of this forces the need for fuel rails. I can see where down the road the SS kit will make things more difficult.
