SSIC or Meth?

What do you guys think would be the most beneficial, a SSIC or a Meth kit? Looking to get rid of some KR and keep everything cool for the most part. A meth kit, for the price, doesn't seem too bad and my stepdad always has a barrel of meth at his house for his WS6. Just curious what you guys think and your experiences with each.

I'm running both. FSIC and meth. Don't notice a big difference with meth but you probably wont notice 20 horse. One or the other I would go with IC.

FSIC!

Don't waste your time with a SSIC kit

I'm guessing e85 isn't available in your area is it

the SSIC would be way more beneficial than the meth will be.

but you'd be a fool to buy an SSIC instead of a FSIC instead.

Thanks guys. E85 isn't available in my area and I'm not trying to dump a whole bunch of money in the car. I appreciate the opinions because this will probably be the last mod I do.

I had an SSIC on my 3.4 setup, it killed about 4-5 degrees of KR. It was the SSIC, a small flojet pump, and a VW scirocco radiator as the FMHE. Total capacity including the hoses was about a gallon, it would get heat soaked after a couple 1/4 mile passes but overall it worked OK.

Pluses of SSIC: low profile fit under the hood, fuel manifold mod was easy, I got it at a low cost, did not affect PCV so no mod to LIM was needed. OK for daily driving.
Minuses: same effort to install as full size. watch for the gap under the snout which can cause a vac leak. you need to put extra gasket here. heat soaks fast.

Agree that for the time and effort if you can find a full size core do that instead.
