you'll shorten the life of a strut like the gr-2's with lowering springs considering their higher spring rate especially if you drive like a mad man on them. Drive fairly sane on them and the gr-2s will be fine. Doing it the right way is with the agx's.
 
AGX's will wear out just as fast.

like i said, revalve a set of used stock struts and use those. get them valved specifically for the springs you intend to run.
