Ok i said i would post these, couldn't get the back header. but these are the best i got so far.... they fit just fine no problems... you will have to remove your heat shields on radiator cooling fans... other then that no problems at all! pretty good for the money i think!

Just not to fond of how low the down pipe is.. see pic below with *** marks

look good..just dont know about that downpipe..id get these but i already got a ss plog, ss, 3" d/p and think its worth spending the money to get 5-7 hp more then i already have

Yea like i said, i dont like the down pipe sitting that low. For people that cant afford $500 headers this is a great buy!

I have'nt had any issues with the downpipe (yet?) hanging down, but I don't like the O2 sensor placement. I had to beat the tunnel in for the front one and the rear hangs down lower than I like. I only have 300 miles on them since I installed and I will say I love the power increase over my stock setup and I think they sound good with my SLP aftercat exhaust. Fit and finish on these pipes is good, well worth the money spent.

Agreed! For the money you cant beat it!

ssac are nice but if you cant stand that dp bump the knock of pacesetters work just as well for the same and sometimes less money. either way wasting money on the 700 dollar plus setups is just that....a waste

i would go with pacesetter headers but they are 200-300 dollars more then ssac. and they are local here in arizona which is nice cuz i wouldnt have to pay shipping. but id rather pay 300+tax rather then pace setters 544.95 + tax.

Ive got SSAC's ... my downpipe WAS like that.. and there was a skid plate welded on the bottom, but when i put them into my grand prix, i had cut them just before the flex pipe, and the shop put on 3" and a new flex pipe and it is tucked up nicely.

so get the knock offs on ebay for 200 bucks ;)

I was about to say...why are people buyin the SSAC's still when you get the SAME EXACT THING...for less than $200.

360 and free shipping. Keep in mind material though, pacesetters are mild steel i believe, whereas these are stainless steel.

Its called get an engine that has some real aftermarket support and heres something you should learn about engines... displacement makes big power easier.

Find an L36 short block, top swap it, cam it, throw on a Gen V and an intercooler and bam... thousands later, 350 FWHP

Also, create new threads for this.

Don't crap up other peoples threads.

I would create a new thread if I new how I'm new here. And u don't need big displacement to make big #s last ride 1998 sunfire 2.4 liter twin cam 287 streetable fwhp. turbocharged streetable and 94 octane air to air intercooler lovely toy they just don't last long. got 43,000 HARD miles out of the build so I know what I'm doing just been ignorant to what is commercially available SRY! for ****ing up ur posts!:th_angry2:

Find an appropriate section and click the massive "new thread" button at the top left...

http://www.grandprixforums.net/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=15

That'll set you up for a new thread in the 3100 section.

enjoy

if u find the support for the 3.1 cool, a lot of folks could probably use the info. sounds like u may know what ur doing! good luck
