SS IC Pulley Sizing

What size pulley can I pull off with an SS Intercooler without kr?
I also have these mods:
Pacesetters, Catless D/P, EGR Delete, K+N CAI, 160 T-Stat, ZZP PCM, Throttle Body Spacer, 10.3's, TR6's, Resonator Delete/3" Midpipe and other minor things. (97 GTP)
So I wanted input on what to swap my 3.4 with, I currently get 1* kr at w.o.t
 


depends on your car and how much timing you want to run. every car is different so no one can tell you what you can run. scan it.
 
I can't see more than a 3.2 if that. But scan it to find out for sure. Like Nick said no one can really say
 
I run 4* over stock timing with 1* of kr at Wot and a 15:1 A/F

15:1 A/F???wtf

Anything under a 3.2 and your in need of larger injectors and a serious tune with less timing. You may also want to run some different plugs... like 104's or 103's.
 


if youre running 4* above stock timing (~20*) then why wouldnt you back it off an run KR free? it doesnt make sense to run what you cant make work.
 
Alright nevermind I'll get this worked out. And what the **** is ****ed up with a 15 to 1 Air to fuel, thats what my reading was and thats a little lean but still near perfect combustion since 14.7:1 is perfect more or less depending on the vehicle. Maybe its diff with these I'm assuming since you mocked me on it. I'll back off the timing a little and scan from there Bio248.
 
15:1 is a horrible AFR for wide open throttle. when youre running it hard you should be in the mid to high 11s. a few guys run about 12.2-12.4, but that is running on the ragged edge of too lean. a boosted car is different from an n/a car in being that you need to use more fuel when youre running hard. the 15:1 ish is good for idling and cruising, but when you start hammering on it the AFR should come down a bunch.

we are all just trying to help here, no mock. dont get frustrated. clubgp is for people to get mocked and told they are wrong. we are just pointing out that a 15:1 AFR will lead to a blown engine if that is really what youre running.

I didn't mean I was running 15:1 at a wot I was saying I get 1* at wot. I obviously run much richer than that when I'm on it because the tps sends my throttle output to the pcm which regulates the injectors. I know how the air to fuel ration works. I guess I should've mentioned that 15:1 was at crusing.
 


15.1!!!!!!!!!!!! that poor bottom end!!!!!!!!!!! dont get discouraged this is a forum with guys, thicken your skin. with my SS intercooler on my L36 i was running a 3.4pulley 19* of timing at 12.5-12.8 AFR, but every car is different, good luck buddy

Does anyone read the posts or do they just read the top and be like "oh he's an idiot let's **** with him" I'm a mother****ing certified mechanic I know my car does not run 15:1 at wot I meant at ****in crusing I was getting around to posting more specs but didn't get a chance since every1 read that and started *****ing up a storm about 15:1. Seriously just drop the subject if I need help with this gtp which btw I only asked for advice on since I've never owned one and I was waiting for a response from either TDC, Bio or reptile which I got so just drop this

No need to get all offensive, usually when people post up a/f ratios they are talking about wot a/f ratios, not idling/cruising... please dont blow up at me... and i hope you know the majority of people on here are only kidding around when they talk crap like that!!!

You'd have to be ****ing retarded to think wot was 15:1 and I'm not, I know what I'm talking about I just wanted some input on the gtp since I've only had one for a few months and wanted advice from ppl who know and mods these cars regularly.

in all fareness. you were talking about WOT kr, then crusing A/F but you never stated the crusing part. they may not have known.
