SRT Design

So i raced a Chrysler 300 SRT Design yesterday. When i saw the SRT, I thought for sure I was done for, but come to find out the SRT8 and the SRT design are two different engines. The design is a 5.7 Liter hemi V8, much less daunting than the 6.1 in the SRT8. (and i think the 6.1 is S/C??) we raced from a rolling start of 20, and i killed him "off the line" persay. (love that torque!! :D) but unfortnately that big v8 was no match for me and he pulled about 1 car length ahead b4 the next light. I no the guy so i told him giv me a month and we'll race again. he doesnt stand a chance....;)

No S/C...only a 6.1...and where does it say there is a SRT and SRT8? There is only the SRT8 and it has the 6.1 liter Hemi V8. For the Charger it is the SXT, R/T, R/T Daytona, and the SRT8...for the 300 it is the 300, 300 AWD, 300C, and then the 300C SRT8...was probably just a 5.7 with SRT wannabe badges.

There is an SRT8, and an SRT Design you can get from the factory. Difference is basically engine. The design has all the SRT features (sat nav, 20" wheels, rear DVD, SRT racing seats, Xenon's, etc, etc), but still has the 340HP 5.7L engine. So yes, it is a 5.7L, and yes, def a wannabe SRT8, but we can't bash the owner for false advertising since it did come from Chrylser like that. Here's a pic of the car (the SRT Design)

Either way (SRT8 or Design) it's a good looking car!!
