SRT-4

So im driving around the other night run into a red SRT-4 seemed stock no fart can on it or anything. Kid checks me out his girlfriend looks pissed at him. The only problem was the light we were at was a turn lane to a 2 sided street but not prime area for racing luckily for us there is a on ramp on the other side of the street so we hit it. I get ahead of him get on the ramp which is a huge loop get on M-5 a four lane highway we get stopped at another light but it was race time at that point. We both spin and go at it i jump ahead and chirp into 2nd just like he does pull about 2 cars on him get stuck at the next light and his gf was laughing at him. I had no idea i could take him but by the numbers i can take a stock srt-4. The only thing i could think of was a bad driver but he seem to be doing pretty well with shifting so idk. But from what people think the SS is the new srt-4

Nice one. The SS has pretty remarkable upside - for not a lot of $$$. The SRT-4 does, too - but the Cobalt is a nicer ride, IMO. Both of them can humble a V8 driver.

Well you gotta figure, stock for stock the supercharged cobalt and the srt4 were pretty close as far as numbers and times, almost identical actually. The srt4 prevailed up top, but now with the cobalt having 21psi turbo boost its gonna take the srt4 no problem stock.

Pretty sure I thought they came factory with 21psi and the SS/SC ones had about 15-17psi stock...SRT4's are quick cars, especially with bolt ons and if they are able to get the power to the ground I say watch out because they have A LOT of traction issues...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If I had to 1) buy an import and 2) had to buy a smaller car...

It'd be an STi. End of discussion. :)

And I'll match your STi with a Evo IX MR...let the games being :th_thumbsup-wink:

They also can make a novice stick driver look like a 20 year pro they arent real cars there computers on wheels IMO
My cousin has a STI and he has no idea what hes doing he hoped in my car and couldnt drive if his life depended on it.
But i have never seen my turbo gauge even get remotely close to even 18 psi

once the stage kit comes out hopefully i will be pushing some more psi but its going through the California emissions board so FML cause its gonna be a while... ****ing Cali
