Squealing sounds

I have a 2005 grand prix base, and whenever I turn it makes a squealing noise. The sounds is like when your brake pads get low and the tabs grind on the rotors. But I recently changed my brakes a few months ago so it's not them. Any ideas?

I'd start by checking the dust plate on the front brakes. They can get bent and contact the rotor. Just reinspect anything you touched and see if there is any shiny metal showing. If so, then there is your rub point.

Check your brake pads again too. I had noisy pads in the back so i replaced them and the one kept squealing. I pulled the caliper off again and the one pad cracked and was making it squeal.

If you changed them only a few months ago you probably don't need to buy new ones. Just check and make sure they are still good with no cracks or anything. That way you can rule out that as the problem.

sounds like the pads are vibrating. they sell a brake pad glue, spray on and tube you smear on. it glues the pad to the piston, and the other pad to the caliper so they cant vibrate.

this stuff works well.

but like this, for just the pad contact points works too. once you take your pads out, you'll see where they rest so just coat those areas.
