Squeaky brake pedal?

Hey guys. When I push down on the brakes and let go, the pedal speaks a little bit. Should I just use WD-40 on the pedal and it would stop? Thanks in advance.
 


follow the pedal up under the dash, lube the part it moves on. wd-40 wont last long, you can put some grease on it. or white lithium spray grease.
