Spyder Halo Headlight Question

I was wondering if anyone has tried to change out the led's in the Halos to make them brighter. Like on the BMW's you can see them bright as day in the day time and on the Spyder ones, not so much.

You can get the CCFL Spyder Projectors where the Halo's don't use LED's and can be seen in clear day time. They cost more though

So are the halos just a lens with the lights behind them?

No these were the old LED style I got cheap and tore them apart and put SMD LED's in them which are much better

So you just bought the SMD light ring and put them in the old plastic rings?
